Google Polygon Examples for County, Parish, Borough Maps
Google maps allow for the creation of complex polygons and with the addition of cartographic boundary files
available from the US Census Bureau you can create detailed shapes of all of the counties within the United States,
(Boroughs within Alaska and Parishes in Louisiana and the Census geographic equivalents).
Listed within the drop-down menus below are all of the counties, boroughs and parishes for all 50 states plus DC, Puerto Rico and Guam.
Click on any one of them and a new window will open with a basic map with all of the boundaries for that county, borough or parish.
You can use these examples to create your own county, borough or parish maps or combine them to display several on a single map.
However, because of the amount of points it take to create a single polygon you may find that combing too many will take quite a bit of
time for the PC to render the map. The cartographic boundary files from the 2000 Census are available from the US Census Bureau at the following location.
